Group buy yet on Tubi????

I remember seeing an early production Tubi exhaust and the interior, just inside the tips had a perforated covering. I was told this was to dissapate the heat from the tips so they would not discolor as easily. I did not see interor on the new tips or did I just miss it?

Thanks for the reply. But, are you saying that the guys at Tubi did not add the front clamps and forgot to add the bolts and let's not forget the instructions? Such high quality workmanship, and they let it all slide by not giving us a $5 clamp and 50 cents bolts?

WOW. I thought it was just my kit! I kinda wish it was just mine.

Thanks. The guys at BMW are placing the order for the clamps. The exhaust should be in by Tuesday!!! Can't wait.

Actually, Tubi does include the clamps with the exhaust. I am not sure why you did not get yours. They don't include the 2 nuts and bolts to connect the 2 halves of the resonator.

These baffles are not in the tip, instead they are located further inside the can. Here is a photo:

whats up with all the pendings... It's gonna rain before we get everyone in the boat If we were in Italy, all we would need to do is ask Guido to help a few of the guys on board... So Beast, I'm still trying to make this happen. Do you think you should put me as pending? I would like to have some time frames and total cost out the door

Agreed - or SNOW in my case. I'm getting verrrrrry itchy to install some bettter mufflers. If this carries on much longer, I may buy something else. M Power's Kelleners sounded awfully sweet, but those Supersprints are nice, and those....

Sorry guys,

I'm still contemplating right now. $1795 for an exhaust, just for the sound and no significant gain in HP. It's the same price I got my Titanium exhaust, intake and boost control for my skyline (~60 HP ).

But I have been itching to mod the M5 for 3 years now. The Tubi sounds so good too

I'll decide by Sunday

bought a supersprint, now I am willing to wait for what I want
which is Tubi, I hope we do it soon though! Beast Obviously
likes the Tubi better, or his other wouldnt be for sale.

I don't want to knock the Eisenmann or Kelleners, but when I picked-up the Eisenmann cans, I was shocked at how heavy they were. I would guess at least 50% more than the Tubi cans. If you don't mind the loud exhaust note, don't prefer the Tubi build-quality, don't prefer the cat-back system, and don't prefer the weight savings, then Eisenmann or Kelleners are great. Try the Eisenmann or Kelleners, and you may find yourselves giving me a call is a few months. When an exhaust is too loud, the character of the car changes, and it no longer becomes fun to drive all the time. It may be more fun some of the time, but if you have passengers, are going out to dinner, are going on a long-drive, then the Eisenmann or Kelleners are loud enough to convince you to take your other car. Take it from me, I have heard almost every M5 exhaust, and have a high tollerance for loud exhausts. I just wanted something that keeps the car, a car I always want to drive.
