What did I miss? Are the above exhausts different from ours?

The Tubis are sent via air freight, which means that once they are crated, they have to wait for an available passenger plane leaving for Chicago, with space for the crates. There are many exhausts in each shipment, in addition to the M5 units. Moreover, all of the crates have to clear customs together in Chicago, which means that even if one is sent before the other, it will just sit at the airport. It is great that Tubi air freights their exhausts, as this is very expensive. The 30 day ocean route is much less expensive. Tubi is a company that prides itself in fine craftsmanship and hand-made products. They are not churning out hundreds of units a day. Each unit is a work of art (once you receive it, you will understand).

The exhausts are coming, and because BeastPower Motorsports is the exclusive US vendor of the M5 Tubi exhaust, we are getting everything that is coming into the US.

Once you receive the Tubi, you will hopefully agree that it was worth the wait.

This looks like a pretty firm date, as the 6 exhausts are already crated and in the hands of the freight forwarder in Italy. I would guess that several, if not all, of the GB members should have a Tubi in their hands before next Friday.

I will post another update once they are in customs, probably on Monday. The 6 flange nuts are going to be shipped with these exhausts.

Sorry for the added delay, but short of flying to Italy and packing them into several suitcases, this is the soonest they can get here.

Daniel,

So, you said your flying to Italy and bringing them back yourself?!

Since these took a little bit longer than expected, I am assuming these are the"new" super-horsepower Tubi exhausts add 50HP . Couldn't help myself. Of course I could have said that the new exhaust was coming attached to the new Tubi Headers for the M5 .

Thanks for the update and I will try and refrain from these rumors,

Mark

I have held back my dissatisfaction with timing for quite awhile.

I have been patient and appreciate the Desk Weight, but have been told that my Exhausts would be here by now so I hold you Daniel, Accountable. I would apprecaite it if you could send me This for $150.00+ shipping

For my Troubles and to offset the delay in shipping. I'm sure that you will see the importance of keeping your customers happy...

Sam,

I am sorry for the delay in the exhaust shipment. I have been conveying the time frames that I have received directly from Tubi Style USA, and I have actually pushed for additional production to come to the US from the factory in Italy. I would love to offer you a V1 for $150; however, this is impossible, as my cost is $399 plus shipping. Valentine Research does not have any dealers, and does not offer discounts. We sell it primarily for the out-of-US customers, as Valentine Research does not ship outside of the US and Canada.

Just to put things into perspective here, I am making a profit of around $175 per Tubi exhaust. I am currently not selling the Tubi for anything less than the $1,995 price, which is already heavily discounted off of the $2,350 retail price. We have a huge list of fully paid back-orders, and any cancellation I get from a group buy member will only improve our bottom line.

I would be happy to offer any Tubi group buy member a full refund. This has been a very fair transaction, and although it has taken longer than either you or I expected, it is the process that those who order the Tubi exhaust for the M5 will often have to accept. This is not a mass production exhaust, and Tubi is a company focused on Ferraris.

I understand your frustration, and would be happy to do what I can to show my appreciation, however, asking us to lose money, after offering a product for a $555 discount, is IMO unfair and will absolutely never happen.

We always try to do are best to provide superior customer service, and I am sure that 99.9% of our customers can surely attest to this. However, we are a business, and therefore have to adhere to certain basic principals. We are not a non-profit organization.

Sam,

I can appreciate your disappointment and understand completely. Back near the beginning of this thread, it was stated "I will have another one unit available for shipping immediately, and the other 8 units will ship in about 2 weeks. These dates are set and there is no reason for delays". That was Aug. 27. My order was placed because of this availability. On Oct. 10 I drove to the tubi US distributor to pick mine up.

Back then, I too was very disappointed. I feel really bad that you fellas in the second group are still waiting. It was so thoughtful and generous to offer to wait for the second shipment.

Something isn't right. Maybe Daniel can approach tubi for a workable solution. Hope it gets resolved very, very soon for you and the others still waiting.

Cheers, Bill

Bill,

I completely understand the frustration displayed by Sam and yourself, but BeastPower is getting every unit that is being produced for the US market. Like I said earlier, I have been conveying to the message board the information I receive from Tubi Style USA regarding timing.

Again to put things into perspective, Tubi did not object to us publishing of a price below retail and us offering a group buy. There is a reason why you will not see the words "group buy" associated with AC Schnitzer, Brembo, Cargraphic, etc. These companies prohibit their dealers from posting a price lower than retail, and also several also prohibit dealers from mentioning the words "group buy."

I really think that the group buy members should take into account that Tubi Style, Srl. is not a run-of-the-mill exhaust manufacturer, and that production and transit delays are something customers just have to come to terms with. I would have liked nothing more than to have met the expected time-frames I had stated (some of which you posted above), however, BeastPower Motorsports is not Tubi Style USA, and Tubi Style USA is not Tubi Style Srl. Taking into account the effort I have put into make the price and group buy a reality, I am surprised at the negativity that I am sensing. Please remember that BeastPower has done everything it can, including talking with Tubi Style USA over 30 times over the past 2 months.
