Has anyone received their Tubi's yet. I just got home from a biz trip and I was hoping to have it waiting for me. In the words of Kevin Kline in "A Fish Called Wanda" .... DISAPPOINTED!

Update - Supply Schedule

The Tubi's have landed in Chicago after a long flight from Italy! They are now 148 miles from their point of departure to their ultimate destinations. They will have to clear customs. We are still shooting for them to ship to customers on Thursday. They may have to wait until Friday, but that should be it.

Mark, your Tubi will also be on its way to Oz at the same time. I will e-mail everyone tracking numbers once the exhaust systems have shipped. I will provide an update on the remaining 4 units that were part of the GB. In addition to these 4, I still have several more customers that purchased after the GB, and who are also waiting for their exhaust systems.

Cheers.

Very Nice

Daniel,

Thank you for the paper weight. It also serves as a coaster on my desk at work. I really like the carbon fiber inlay. Is this what the cf hoods will look like?

Mark

I am glad you guys like the paperweight. The carbon fiber center looks the same as a lightly polished carbon fiber hood. If the hood is clearcoated, it will shine like a mirror, and be much more reflective than the clearcoat layer on painted body panels.

Mark (MIB),
I need to ask a favor of you. BeastPower would like to use your exhaust for Powerchip testing (TubiChip development work), and were wondering if you didn't mind diverting your Tubi exhaust to Southern California to another BeastPower/Tubi customer (he was outside the GB). This customer is donating his M5 for testing purposes. We will get another Tubi exhaust to you ASAP (with the 2nd group).

Please let me know, as we are setting up the testing for next week. Your assistance with this will be appreciated, and demonstrated when you next need something from either Powerchip or BeastPower.

Thanks mate,

Daniel

Go for it.

No Problem Daniel, I'll take one for the Team.

The Tubi-BeastPOWER CHIP must be born.

A few Questions

BeastPower---------> If a person was just to install a CAI and the TUBI Exhaust, would there be some adverse effects without re-tuning the chip and utilizing existing OEM chip?

Would the existing Software notice that more Exhaust is exitng freely and adjust for it?

Lastly, I have heard that Some vehicles installing free flowing exhaust have lost some low end...Would we be loosing anything at all with the Tubi's?

For anyone else in California-------------> Have you taken the Beast in to be Smoged with aftermarket Exhasusts? Has anyone had any difficulties? Thanks

Mark,
Thanks!

Ocean-Side M5,
All good questions. One thing I can confirm that the Tubi design is especially beneficial to low end throttle response and power delivery. I found a noticable improvement from the freer-flowing Eisenmann.

The OEM software will adapt, but your best bet is if you purchase the TubiChip software.

My M5 has passed California SMOG with everything on that could possibly make it not pass, such as headers, CAI, etc. I would not worry about passing SMOG. A good place to go is the 76 station on the corner of El Camino and Grant/237 in Mountain View. They are 0.5 miles from Dinan, so they are probably used to SMOGing BMWs that are heavily modified.

Cheers.
