Elevens- I agree with BP, the Tubi exhaust is absolutely awesome! I would suggest you wait, I think you will regret it if you don't!

Maserati has been back-ordered for 2 months. This has no relation to our order, except that they are trying to temporarily relieve the backlog by pumping out some Maserati exhausts. Tubi is also in the process of opening a new production facility which should start operations in 6-8 weeks.

They did not run out of pipe

. They can only produce a certain number of exhausts at a time. This is a labor intensive process which requires lots of very intricate welding. Tomorrow I will have an update.

Now I don't mean to sound harsh, but please help me understand what the big deal is with a couple days delay? I mean how long did it take to get your M5 in the 1st place?! I believe Daniel is doing a 1st class job of getting the order in at a very good price. It sounds like there is some whining occurring just because of a slight delay.

Now perhaps you all are just pulling Daniels leg about this"big delay" and it this is just friendly banter. Am I correct?

If you look back to the beginning of this thread, my first post was a request for a realistic shipping date. I quote BeastPower on August 27:

"One is going on my beast for on-car photos and a series of sound recordings. I will have another one unit available for shipping immediately, and the other 8 units will ship in about 2 weeks. These dates are set and there is no reason for delays."

If your dealer told you that your beast would take 2 weeks, but after 5 weeks you were still beastless, you wouldn't care?

For me I was just kidding because Our group is still 2 weeks away. If you recall, I was the first one to go Second Group. We are among friends and so we like to talk or just to kick it around. Who do we have to complain to except the Beast. It is Us vs. Him... The unique aspect here is that Beast is not a Local Dealer that we can get upset with. He is our Bud, so some people won't mind a little delay and others will. Hell, I get in a pissy mood when I don't get laid.

Or if I burn the Bacon...

I apologize to you fellas for losing it. Delivery was critical to me because my goal was to get the beast back to the drag strip this season for testing with all of the new mods.

We are out of time, the season is all but done

Which gives us seven months to wonder what she'll do...

Maybe by that time I'll have some drag radials to play with. There's gotta be a silver lining here somewhere, right Doc?
