M5 Dry carbon fiber plenum feeler

Hey guys,

We have had a lot of inquiries regarding a carbon fiber m5 plenum cover. It seems there may be enough interest to bring this type of product to the market. We have sourced a manufacturer who produces very high end quality carbon fiber products. The company is ISO:9001 and AS9100 certified; they also produce pieces for Grand-Am Daytona Prototype series, NHRA, ARCA, SCCA, Nascar, and World superbike. So there should be no concern in regards to quality.

The plenum cover we're proposing would be a stock shape, but the BMW ///M Power logo with be raised text in the cover, Not the inlay like stock. I've attached an image blow of what i mean when i say raised text.

Just to reitterate this, these covers will be dry carbon fiber, not wet, nor will these be overlays. This will be raw carbon fiber produced in an autoclave.

Regarding pricing, we are anticipating a 10 person group buy to be around $800, MSRP will naturally be more.

Here are some images of what i mean regarding the raised text. (Both are past products of this company)

Here is some of the companies past work

Yes this entire piece is carbon fiber.

With that said, how many members feel they would be interested in being a part of this? Our ETA appears to be near the end of summer, so about 2-3 months out. I will know more on ETA once the plug work and the molds are being constructed.

Thanks you,
-Raza

I'll take one!

c'mon y'all! I've been approached by at least 3 or 4 of you (George, Piotr and Curtis) for one of these! We need at least 8 to pull the trigger!
