Yes, I know about the post history feature. That's why I asked how you could quantify all my posts being negative since January 2009. They are not.
No, I have not bought any of this vendor products. When they first announced their e60 M5 SMG clutch product in March, I had my doubts (along with some others) but didn't really say much other than a few initial questions. You can see that thread in the e60 M5 section. After the moderator (Kees) started the shill account thread this past week, I started my own research, which included contacting the SPEC manufacturer who validated everyone's suspicions. I also talked with a board moderator to get more info and this particular vendors history. So that, combined with several other board members from E39 owners, M6, and e60 owners all provided input in various threads and asked questions to the vendor and never got a straight answer. The rest is history.
Your next question is probably why I should care or what my motives are. First, I have nothing to gain from this. I guess you can call it a combination of free time on my hands, not wanting to see people on this board be affected, and my own personal initiative in wanting to help support the moderators. I've been a member here for a long time. Other members can vouch for me and have valued my input and opinions. I also know several board members personally and organized meets and drives in our area. I enjoy this board and didn't want to see people be taken advantage of. That, and for people to make informed decisions in light of recent events.
Again, sorry if I upset you. I agree that I perhaps pushed the envelope a bit too far. Should a moderator want to issue me a warning, I'll take my lumps accordingly.
