- 16" Electric Fan, 10.0 AMP Draw , 3629 CFM !! This CFM rating has been confirmed and tested by the vendor (If there is any doubt you can also contact them directly). Per their engineering team their testing procedure is superior than say Spal and they stand behind their data specs. (see attachment)
My mistake, I didn't realize this was another company's E39 kit. Is CNS acting as Zirgo's proxy in this situation?

- Our testing through data logging analysis on the track and street demonstrated lower coolant and oil temperatures as compared to competitive fan models.
I'd love to see the logs!! Which track was used for testing and what was the state of the car? Were there aftermarket bits, ducting, cooling panels? Have photos?

are those the through-the-radiator zipties that destroy your radiator?
No Zirgo does not produce an E39 Electric fan kit. We have taken various different components and produced a complete plug and play kit for the E39 M5.

We offer two mounting options one of which are plastic inserts that are much thinner than the ones offered by standard kits. This in turn guarantees no damage to the radiator. Will send PM to discuss.
This is just a fan and no shroud? Mounting the fan directly to the radiator is not a good idea, been there, done that. It will only pull air through the area it directly underneath it, so under low-speed/idle conditions when you need the airflow the most, over 50% of the radiator won't be cooled.
Mounting the fan to the stock shroud is not an option either, the stock fan hole is HUGE, too far away, and you would have to completely seal it up somehow.
And lol @ "This CFM rating has been confirmed and tested by the vendor" Seriously, I have an investment opportunity for you, double your money overnight!

I happen to have a 3000 CFM Zirgo fan left over from a past project. I bought an air velocity meter and a Magnehelic and using one of the ammeters I have I am going to do some testing once I find a spare E39 M5 radiator core and shroud. Incidentally, my fan is also rated at 10A. My guess is that this is rating is the fan spinning in free-air. Once placed on a radiator, the current draw will likely increase but we will see!!!!
I am also wondering how exactly the CNS fan kit is meant to be attached/mounted to the vehicle. I still don't understand or see how that is accomplished. I also don't see how pre-cut wiring and connections are provided. Maybe I am thinking of it wrong but some cutting and splicing is going to be required. where does the fan get its power? i don't mind paying for a one-stop solution but thus far I see many holes in the description that I need answers to.
EDIT: I am not necessarily willing to defend CNS at this point, but whatever I find out concerning the Zirgo fan will really be more of an indictment against Zirgo than CNS IF the ratings Zirgo provided are wrong or misleading but I would expect a little more research by a company before advetising a product. Hey, but maybe the fan truly proves to be a miracle!
All take note of m5board member's georgefu recent purchase of a CNS Racing clutch. Notice how there is epoxy or some resin covering the area underneath the sticker. This could be the place where SPEC has their etched label.

I would appreciate a answer as to why I paid $1000 more for modifications, if the SPEC clutch had issues what were they? Explain that and I will decide if it was worth the extra money....
that's a destroyed bell housing from a spec clutch coming apart. They're famous for it. I've witnessed first-hand, many coming apart in a few various fashions - all catastrophic failures.
