SPEC, the original manufacturer, has informed me that CNS had also done this with E39 parts as well.

FYI people, if you want the true cost and original part, shop direct at SPEC:

SPEC Clutches & Flywheels: Auto Parts, Domestic, Import, Truck, Racing, Drifting :: Home

If you're tech savy, you can compare their products to what CNS is advertising and note similarities...as in take a look a their e60 M5 SMG clutch and compare it to CNS....hint: it's the same.

So basically, no need to go through CNS as they charge more than what the cost of the clutch is on SPEC's website. Cut out the "middle man" so to speak.
I thought CNS's most successful product was the 10.5 inch E39 M5 clutch kit,are you saying it is not theirs and can be found somewhere at a cheaper price?

The E39 M5 10.5 clutch can only be purchased through our company as it is our product.

All take note of m5board member's georgefu recent purchase of a CNS Racing clutch. Notice how there is epoxy or some resin covering the area underneath the sticker. This could be the place where SPEC has their etched label.

I would appreciate a answer as to why I paid $1000 more for modifications, if the SPEC clutch had issues what were they? Explain that and I will decide if it was worth the extra money....

CNS racing's account sounds so monotone, that it could be an chatbot that's replying to the messages.

PM sent. can this go on RHD cars? irrespective of any alleged forum behavior, there appears to be no evidence of products failing to arrive or products of low quality so i am interested in this...also wondering if you can supply without the tune....i may be making further changes to the kit before mapping it, hence the question. i understand this will invalidate the warranty but perhaps the price will be lower as well?

not all of us want generic products/packages. is this something you can cater for?....

You aren't you purchasing a clutch ffrom Spec themselves for half the price?

edit: I can't fancy one good reason to paid a 100% markup for a middle man.

Are you referring to "their" supercharger kit? If so, save yourself a ton of cash and just buy the exact same kit from ESS....unless you think those CNS stickers are really worth the markup.

There's a difference of around <$1500 between the ess 550 kit and this with the additional water meth kit, bigger injectors and uprated pump, Is this not reasonable? I find it hard to believe one m5 board sponsor would publically advertise a modified kit from another forum sponsor without their permission, no one can be that stupid!

The CNS version of our E39 VT kit was developed with our input. It is not an official ESS product as CNS has modified our standard kit to their specs with their water meth system in an attempt to increase power but it has been developed with feedback from our engineers. Any support on the CNS version of our kit is thru CNS and not ESS.

Can a mod please delete this thread.
The rules say:
M5 E39 Group Buy Forum and Sponsor Discussion and Offerings Only Sponsors are allowed to post there offerings or one-time member offerings (That is one single and first group buy for a non-sponsor company's product). Also only sponsoring companies and members are allowed to post here.

CNS is no longer a sponsor and does not deserve to have their "offerings" in this section of M5board. I am sick of seeing these threads bumped every couple of days.
