It should, but you need an additional relay to turn the fan on when the AC compressor turns on...

You can try it and see how it works for you...

Are we there yet? I have set aside some time the week of July 4th, it is reasonable to expect something by then?

My god I hope so... This one is dragging for us as well. Lesson learned Don't go to the slammed sheet metal fab and ask for a rush job, it takes longer!

Raza is supposed to be picking the shrouds up and putting in the fasteners and speed flaps later this week and this weekend. If we're lucky I'll be able to ship by mid to end of next week...

Also an FYI, the fan is plenty loud enough to hear if it's running by rolling down your window, that said, the only reasonable solution for an LED indicator is from the relay, so it will tell you if the relay is sending power to the fan, not that the fan is actually moving. (ie the fan motor craps out is the only thing the LED won't be able to show you...) I will follow up with LED kits to those that want them after the fan kits are all out the door. (will be a 12V LED, some wire and some instructions on how to wire it)

Actually...what REALLY happened is the owner of the company decided he wanted his stuff for his new house done first, so everything else has been put on hold. This is a factory the size of 2 football fields we're talking about...lol

Guess his wife is pretty stubborn lol

From a while back explaining the current price.

Have the costs put together for the electric fan kit...

Includes
SPAL 16" CFM 2070 fan
SPAL Fan relay with fuse holder and wiring with 185F temp switch (comes on at 185F (85C) and turns off at 165F (73C))
Custom Aluminum Shroud for the fan and holds the OEM expansion tank and resistor
Lower Radiator Hose sensor adapter powder coated black (CNC'd adapter with 3/8NPT hole for the SPAL temp switch)
Air Bypass Flaps (allows more air to come through the radiator when the car is moving, seals when the car is slowed)

Price is $385.00 + shipping for a group buy of 10 people or more (originally offered at $350.00, had to increase the price a bit to cover the increased shroud costs)

Price individually thereafter is $425.00 + shipping

As soon as we have the mockup from the shroud mfg we'll start accepting payments.

Thanks,

Jamie

Shrouds are DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raza pressed in the nuts and is gluing the flaps tonight. I have all the fans, relays, sensor housings etc... Raza is also going to keep a shroud and work on the instructions for all of you over the weekend. Unfortunately (as is always the case) I have a pretty busy weekend and some travel for my other business the first part of next week. I"ll try my best to get as many kits as possible made this weekend!

Need you all to email me your address and phone number, so we can get a shipping quote together for your total and to get your credit card info.
