"It comes with its own separate mic for the bluetooth module."

Is the mic plug and play into the standard mic location (overhead liner OEM mic connector)? Thanks.

Unfortunately no, the supplied mic will have to be wired in from the module in the trunk to wherever you'd like inside the cabin, you can of course wire it into the standard mic location.

Cal,
What is the length of cable for each of the different connections? I'm curious for this info to detemine where to mount the device and wire the mic for Bluetooth. I'm assuming directions will be provided.

The cables are approximately 12-15ft. Full DIY instructions are included.

Two questions -
1) do you have video of this installed on any cars - the video that I've found on youtube is less than thrilling.
2) Please email a price to matt.wj.lewis *at* gmail. c0m

Thanks,

-Matt

EDIT - Question 3 - can you post a user/installation manuel for me (us) to read?

1.) Unfortunately, not yet...we're planning on making one soon though (like our DIY roundel install video)
2.) email sent.
3.) I'll try and find one in PDF format. *EDIT* Will scan the included instructions soon.

I have a standard mic in factory location and still use it for my voice recognition module. Any suggestions on alternate mic locations that are effective and don't require any mods? Plan on mounting mediabridge unit in the trunk do to accessibility, ease of mounting, space, and ease of updating/servicing.

I don't see why you couldn't mount it right next to the OEM Microphone and use it in conjunction with the Mediabridge unit.

Cal,

I have the DSP adapter and would like some recommended wires for splicing in at switched 12v. The included instructions for the adapter do not provide this guidance. I don't want to fry the electrical system or the unit.

For testing purposes, could I set up a 9v and two AA batteries wired in series to power the adapter and check all items work?

Thanks,
Ken
