When I purchased my M5 they came with these (I know they are race, and I think 83mm), and I just want to say that they are beautiful (E39 M5 doesn't look right without them) and sound incredible. Not bawdy at all; they are made for those with taste--they don't just scream or sound cheap, they make appropriate, beautiful noises at all RPMs.
