Evolve Headers/CATS/deCAT/Silencers

Our development programme for a new BMW E39 M5 exhaust is now going ahead.

Over the next few weeks we will revealing the following:

- Equal Length Headers RHD & LHD
- High Flow CAT's
- Decat Pipes
- X-Ppipe
- Rear Silencers with choice of black chrome/Silver/Burnt Titanium tail pipes

The objectives:
- To create a a very high quality set of headers which are as physically close as possible to equal length but at a reasonable price. The S62 has more than enough grunt low end so the design will be aiming to achieve as much power as possible from 3500rpm onwards.
- An exhaust system which will follow on from our E92 M3 full exhaust in that it will be designed to have minimal drone on constant throttle and make a real high pitched V8 race car noise on under full load. We will look at designing two types of rear exhaust to suit different tastes in sound type. Again, all very reasonably priced.

The exhaust will be hand made and we will put up some images very soon of the type of quality you can expect.

Two board members will be having the headers straight away and our development car will obviously be fitted with the full system.

Completion Date - 2nd week June 2010.

I hope this will be done on time, unlike other vendors who keep running over their deadlines. Can't wait to see this done.

Love to see this new product development for the E39 M5! Would really love to find a way to switch tunes on the DME manually (e.g., switch between more than just fuel maps ala the Sport button--between all out "race/meth", sport, and street tunes). There is such a product for the E46 DME, but it does not work on ours.

Any ideas of rough prices for the exhaust? Will it be cheaper than the Eisenmann stuff etc?
