Just got mine installed with the rogue crosspipe with the inline silencers. It was amazing that they linked right up with out any trouble or rebending needed. I had a muffler shop do the install but they didn't complain, so I assume it was very straight forward install.
With the crosspipe it is quite a bit louder than the new system with the OEM lungs at WOT from when I rode in Matts car. But driving around town its pretty tame but you know there is something different when you want to put some rubber down, it just howls. When I first took my car from the muffler shop it had a little drone from 500- 1700 RPMs but now that its broken in, I don't have any...so I'm pretty relived that i didn't make a mistake with the crosspipe.
Are you reffering the 83mm for the tips or for the pipe where it connect to the OE pipe ?
Likr this pic here - I am borrowing it from another thread This pic show the replacement OE muffler (The OEM is actually 1 piecc from the factory assembly line) But if you ever in an accident or need an OE replacement then it would have to cut the old muffler and use the clamp system on the new muffler unit as illustrated below.
The reason I ask because I saw the pic (on your car) that it is welded on the OE pipe, I'd like to know if the production unit has been modified to use clamp system like other aftermarket exhasut (i.e Supersprint, Remus, Eisenmenn, Kellener)
We provide you with those clamps #4, you don't have to use them.
On my car they were welded directly on.
83mm refers to the outlet pipes on the mufflers themselves (tips).
Yeah I can do no problem! I don't have access to a video camera so I haven't been able to make any sound clips yet. My car is going back to the painters to take care of some bumps in the paint. In fact I'm bringing it back today so I'll probably have it back probably next Saturday I hope.

umnitza, do you still sell this exhaust? I'm interested in a system for my E39. Also I live in the east bay, would I be able to pick it up locally? I'd have sent you a pm but I'm still quite a few posts short of being able to do that.
Thanks!
mb
I'd love to come by and check it out, where is your shop located? I work in SF but commute from the Walnut Creek area, depending on your hours I might have to come by on a weekend.
Oh you're really close, I live in Pleasant Hill. I'll try and make it by tomorrow or Friday.
