Yeah the m5board coupon doesn't work for their special sale on the website. Come on guys add yourself to the list I need a clutch lets get it to $1999 if we can get five people it is $2124 vs $2299 on their site special.
my clutch got fried lastnight, take me off the list I ended up ordering a UUC kit tonight.
sorry just cant wait.
My M5 is my weekend car so I can wait but have you used the search option on this forum...why would you buy the UUC kit when the CNS is the same price on their website? The UUC has the annoying gear rattle on idle and has some reported problems....that is why I want the CNS clutch..

a friend said to not go cns as they take forever to break in and have some chatter issue?? i can cancel my uuc order... thoughts??
CNS explained to me that you need to break in the clutch for 500 to 1000 miles like any other clutch. There would be some minor chatter(vibration) for the first 100 miles then it would go away during the breakin. Yeah cancel the order cause the UUC gives out permanent flywheel noise on idle plus there were complaints with UUC after break-in. I searched the forum and there are no complaints of the CNS clutch after the break-in is done.

the UUC will have chatter for it's entire life b/c of the flywheel design whereas the CNS may have some initial chatter during break-in but after that there is none.
Cancel the UUC order if you can, you'll regret going with UUC in 6 months to 1 year when your clutch starts to slip.

I don't remember seeing anyone on the board complain about chatter after breakin. That usually takes about 1000 miles, I think one board member said it took 1400 miles.
I would go with CNS ( I actually did). If you have an emergency about getting a CNS yesterday, I still have mine in the box, I intended to put it in a fter the SC has been well broken in so I was only changing one thing (engine) at a time.
PM me to discuss getting mine if you need it. I can always add myself back to the GB as long as it doesn't cost me more than originally and wait another week or two.
Or you can talk to CNS and buy now and see if they will count you as part of the GB and refund any difference depending on how many sign up for the GB.
Regards,
Jerry
