Well, I got the DINAN Stage 1 installed about a month ago. I looked on DINAN's site and found out that the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 was the addition of the front and rear anti-sway bar. I had my front DINAN anti-sway bar installed last week when my headers were installed. The front bar makes the car feel like its on rails now. I can't wait for the rear one to get put on.

What's everyone thinking about for brackets? The e46 M3 steel one or the Beastpower TC Designs brackets?

I was under the view not to mess/upgrade the stock front bar unless you are running a square setup, as opposed to the stock staggered setup (Rear Wheels and Tyres Wider than Front Wheels and Tyres)

I plan on going to 19 x 9.5 all around, so it's all good.

OK, here's the lowdown. I got an email back from Scott. This is what he told me:

Hi Curt,

I could do the rear-sways for $170 plus $10 for shipping (out of state) and $170 plus tax and free shipping for anybody located in Texas. The good thing about the Dinan rear sway bar is that it is compatible across the entire E39 line, so its not restricted to just M5's. I'm going to call Dinan to check availability and ETA and get back to you.

Thank You,
-Scott Dunham, BMW of Houston North
(Performance and Accessories consultant)

Email: dunhams1@autonation.com

M5 London and any other members interested that live on that side of the pond, please email Scott for a shipping quote. As soon as he gets back to me on availability, I will post the information.

^ FYI on Dinan's current special pricing...

Quoted from the Dinan website:

"The 10% Discount will start on October 1, 2009 and run through the end of November 30, 2009. It will be an upfront 10% parts discount that you will receive from your Dinan dealer. For further details, please contact Dinan at 800-341-5480."

This means that Dinan's current special price is: $179.10
From my calculations, we would be saving $9.10 + the reduced shipping charges that Scott has offered.
Are my calculations correct ?

Dinan also says that if you're running the stock wheel/tire setup you should stick with the stock front swaybar I believe so just doing the rear is presumably ok.

Please standby. We might be able to get a lower price with more orders. I'm waiting on a reply from Scott. We will just order individually it directly from Scott once he gets me the final prices.
