Last question, How many holes, what diameter? I want to purchase enough stainless steel nuts/bolts/fender washers ahead of time if that is the direction I'm going to go.
I really want to have it molded, but frankly I am slightly scared about how it will hold up under really high speeds

OK, here it is bolted on. I had a few minor setbacks intially, but they can be resolved by paint/body Dude...After installing yesterday, I looked at it ALL day and wondered if I really need to paint it and have it molded. When bolted up correctly, the fit is fantastic.
For what its worth, it came with a total of 4 pre-drilled holes. I added 3 additional using Stainless steel bolts/lock washers and fender washers. sucked in very nicely if I say so myself..

You'll see that there are 2 holes in the bulk portion of the lip....I added one in the center, then added 1 each forward and out of the curve of the intake.
If you can wait a few days, I can take pics. (Sorry...should have done it before) Dropped the car off at the paint shop and it would be Weds. before I can get back over there.
It actually mated up SO well, I have decided NOT to permanently attach / fiberglass the lip to the bumper. Paint guy agreed.
Ken, thanks I got the lip and fog light covers Saturday. I love the products and the car is in the paint shop as we speak....
I wanted to pass along that some damage had occured to the lip during shipping. I e-mailed Ken and got a quick response and he stepped right up to the plate. WOW what a stand up guy. :trophy_bronze:
THANKS agian.....cherrsagai:M5launch:
PS I`ll post some pics of the beast when I get her back
Ken, I received the front lip today. I gotta say... I am impressed. The quality of your product is fantastic. I have seen a lot of aftermarket parts through the years with countless M3s, Mercedes, Porsche Turbo and this is a proper product. And at your price you are definitely a bargain. I am a VERY happy customer right now. I've already mentioned it to a few other owners too. I'm loving the detail you put into it including the certificate. Since day one you've been great on customer service. Thanks a lot, can't wait for the CF rear diffuser

No....they didn't....I guess between the chrome wheels and the polished sink drains, I thought the chrome kidney just tied it in nicely....The CF Kidney is enroute to Chris's Beast (Headhunter) in Ohio
Tested to 165 mph...constant 75-100mph travel...:M5launch:
Not a problem at all. No paint issues. This was an initial concern of mine but that concern is no more.
Well, I am sad to report that #21 of 100 Programe 39 lip is history.....I had my Dinan Stage 1 strut / springs installed and the Indy took it across the street to have it aligned. Apparently the owner of the alignment shop forgot about/didn't see the lip and ripped it off the front of my car
It isnt salvageable...its toast...The Indy shop said that they are responsible and would make amends with me for the damage and square up with the alignment shop. They have been friends and have had a working relationship for over 25 years.
I didn't take pictures....I was too sick to my stomach...:grrrr:
Anyway Ken...you have a PM about the purchase of a new lip....The shop scratched me a check for the lip replacement and to be re-painted. Kudos to Taylor BMW in Pomona for taking care of me as usual.
Lesson learned.....SURE AM GLAD I didn't decide to mold them lip on...
Well atleast the lip is durable.. Hit a big pheasant today in the track day from 150-160km/h... Byebye bumper. :crying:
The damage to the lip was minimal even thought it took the first blow. Testing it out so you won't have to.
