sorry about resurrecting this old thread, but i have a quick question. I notice that the BMW T60 tool has a narrow shaft with the torx head on it, i have only been able to find a normal torx tool, of that length, and the shaft is just a little wider than the torx head (probably about 2mill), will this fit in holes in teh flywheel or will it be to big?.

thanks in advance

Hi Konst:

I don't think I purchased the BMW special tool T60. So I either used a standard Torx T60 or a socket based T60 to do this step. Sorry I can't be more specific it has just been a while. BTW, my car has been great since I made this change out and no problems with the clutch or anything else. What a great car......
