Black kidney grill+black wheels on a black e39 520 - good idea?

Hey hello there, I'm new to the board, but a long time reader.

I just bought my first BMW, a nicely kept 1998 520 (slow but great fuel economy, also safe for trusting wife to drive ).

So I'm thinking about the first mods, a black kidney grill and a set of black wheels. How will that combination look? too dark? tasteless? aggressive?
The car is bloack.

The wheels I am looking are those (but not final choices):

Thanks for any help in deciding.

Pulsar,

If you like the subtle look, that will be great. I'd like to see the first set of rims at speed. I wonder how that red spoke would look as the car is moving.

Ok, forget about the rims, they cost at least $6000 and are custom built in Italy. Maybe I will buy them for my future M5 if I am lucky to get one, but for a 520, oh no

Hi Pulsar, I recently purchased some VMR V710 wheels for $999 that look very similar to $5800 HRE Monoblok P40 wheels. These specific wheels are not made for my car (E39 M5) in matte black, so the reseller that sold them to me had the manufacturer re-bore the center and put a matte black finish on them for some extra cost, but the finished product is very nice. I hope this might help you get what you want for less $$.
