Dry sump oil system for E39 motor?

[ also posted in the general forum ]

Has anyone installed -- or know of -- a dry sump setup for the E39 M5 motor? PTG has developed their own, but it's not really sold as a kit.

I believe there was someone who installed an M5 motor into an E36 awhile ago and developed their own dry sump setup. Does anyone recall this happening or know any more details?

thanks.

are you Jonathan Heiliger?

I guess you're going to finally put the M5 engine to good use.

I talked to PTG about the dry Sump system about a year ago...

I suggest you talk to www.drysump.com....they are near sacramento and have worked with Rebello (McGee says Rebello rules on engines) on dry sumps for the 6cyl...they might be able to get something going for the S62.

PTG, BTW modified the stock pan to make they're dry sump system on the 6 cylinders.
