18x8.5 with 265/35/18?

Hey guys, would a 265/35/18 tire fit on a 18x8.5 rim? Would they mount and if so would I have any issues?

Thank you

I think they will easily fit. No problem will come.

The OEM tire size 255/40 is pretty much the largest tire designed for the 8.5 inch wide OEM wheels.

See specs for Michelin PS2 by going to the tirerack.com website and click on specs. You will see that the 265/35 tires are designed to fit 9 inch wide rims and is .7 inches smaller in diameter (26.3 inches vs 27 inches). Your speedometer and cruise control speed will be off by a bit!
