tips for using the h7 bulb adaptor with a aftermarket hid setup

well I not sure if its been done already........
so aty the risk of being redundant hers a slick way to install AFTERMARKET HID IN A oem HELLA LIGHT FIXTURE

first look at photo 1
see the stock setup

I used a DREMEL TOOL WITH A DRYWALL CUTTING ZIP BIT ABOUT 3/4 THROTTLE pritty good control and if you break the adaptor I don't think there very much money to replace I was able to modify two without DISASTER .........

then look at the rest see the GHUMBY RUBBER GROMET the after market rig comes with ....... TOTALLY UNUSUABLE as a mof I called the manufacture lets say his name is RICH .........
his advise is use lots of silicone!!!!!

NOT......

THE siliconed bulb will vibrate & shake beyond belief im sure of it .........
so look at the pics and see how I hollewed out the oem h7 lowbeam mount to slip the wires thru and then viola the bulb is nice and tight like it is suspossed to be I did not remove the housing as lining up the bulb is not that hard one little suggestion LOOK AT THE PLACEMENT OF THE NOTCH ON THE BULB AND COMPARE IT TO THE AFTERMARKET BULB THEN WHEN YOU SLIP THE WIRES THRU (like in the photo) you will have no PROUBLEM finding the home for the bulb and adaptor you just modified LOL ...... good luick any questions ask
