On Board Computer - No Reset - Help?

I have recently got an E39 M5, which has an aftermarket Alpine DVD/Satnav, which has replaced the original head unit. The problem is, I believe the original head unit had the OBC reset button on it, and now I can only scroll through the computer (range, mpg etc) with the stalk button, but cannot reset.
Is there any way around this, as i want to reset mpg etc.??
Thanks

I think a master reset button should be there.
