bmw m5 e39 TRACK race

hi
i am new here.i own a bmw m5 e39 year 2001 and i want to race with it.
how can i make a great start??? i know that i must OFF the DSC button, but how about the rotation of the turometer??

pls tell me

Yes DSC off sport on.

Also you want your revs around 2k, you dont want to spin taking off. The transmission in my opinion cant take the hard throws(shifting) with drag racing.

With upgrades, i would start out like this, headers, cold air intake, exhaust. Let the beast breath. Then try a cam swap if that is viable/possible. Then go the forced induction route, for example, super charger, turbo/s, or even spray/nitrous.

I'd recommend first a clutch upgrade for you. The car has a lot of power on a fairly weak clutch for drag racing.

eurosportdesign.com have SS headers and exhaust prices as part of m5board group buy. I think shipping to Russia was quoted at $450 if that helps give you an idea on pricing.
