Brake Pad question

Can anyone tell me if the front and rear brake pads for my 2002 beast are the same as any other 5 series, the stealer wants £118 for a set of front pads and the car accessory place only have the same type of pads for all 5 series at £44. Are they all the same or are BMW's front pads for the M5 better than other 5 series pads? Thanks for advice.

Get a set of Ferodo DS2500s - AS Performance, Demon Tweeks etc shoulld be able to provide the right size to fit. I would guess less than stealers prices and a better performing pad, works from cold too.
