Cleaning Head/Rear/Fog Lights?

After giving the car a bath, what's the best thing to clean head, rear, and fog lights with? Windex? Or just clean them with car shampoo? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Old thread, but i just clean them when i wash the car. Meguirs Plastic-X works well on taillights/headlights assuming they're plastic.

I find using a little bit of wax (Turtle Wax in the green tub) or any other rubbing compound style wax works exceptionally well.
