Help with m5 cluster swap into 540auto

I have recently swapped a e39 m5 cluster into my e39 540 sport and am after some help.
Everything works apart from the reverse features as in lights and rear pdc.
This is due to the cluster being from a Manual car and mine being a Auto.
From what i can work out it is somethin to do with the can interface and the ike not sending the signal to the lcm. Is there anyway i can bypass this or hook up a micro switch to act as a reverse light switch?
Any help would be appreciated

You need to have the cluster coded to the car that you are driving. GT1 will solve your problems along with adjust the mileage to match the mileage on the vehicle. If you dont have the correct mileage a little dot will apear next to the mileage in the cluster.
