Newbie needs a gearbox :(

Hi,

Just registered as I uncovered the site in my search for a 5 speed gearbox.
Got a 92 3.8, mint but a blown gearbox, internals are shot

Any leads to a second hand box or info regarding fitting a 6 speed in lieu of a 5 speed would be appreciated. Car is mint otherwise, and i renewed the front struts 10k miles back.

I am Milton Keynes based.

Cheers

I've just seen yr post, are you still in need of a box?

FYI; There are no parts available for a six speed box so it can be a bit costly to say the least as it is only available as a complete unit whereas all parts are available for the five speed.

Cheers PJ

Thanks PJ, may have found one, and it is being overhauled, awaiting parts from Germany. Fingers crossed
