UUC Short shift

Hi people

(hope this is the right place for it Gustav).

How is the group buy for the UUC short shift coming along - I spoke to Rob over the mail and he has them in stock now?

Let me know when I can expect to part with my money.

Regards

J

I would be interested in both thee Evo 3 short-shift and the DSSR currently at $325 for the short-shift and $129 for the DSSR. Something around the $400 for both would be nice.

Is there a 6-speed UUC short shifter?

Less of the old - I'm 35 as well

Re: UUC Short shift

I am definitely interested in both the SSK, and the DSSR for my 5 speed 1991 3.6.

But I can't commit until I have got to the bottom of my gearbox problems. Car is in for a gearbox oil change this friday, so hopefully will find out on the w/e but then i'm on hol for a week. But if there is still a chance to get involved then, I'm definitely still up for it.

For those interested the problems have been detailed here:

HELP!!!! Its not my clutch!

The return of the transmission problems...

Cheers!

Re: UUC Short shift

An update on DSSR for 540i/6spd, the length of the shiftrod on these cars is 205mm. Seems to differ from the 147mm BMW quotes for a 3.8/6spd.......

Re: UUC Short shift

gonna have to withdraw my interest on getting this untill I fix my gearbox problems me thinks. Will be looking at doing it soon as it is fixed - anyone know how the UUC short shift kit compares to the AC schnitzer one? My Garage reckons they can get those for possibly even less.
