WTB: Good silver-gray door panels

As the title says, i'm looking for a nice set of silvergray door panels. I've found a few on ebay.uk, but they don't want to ship to the US, and no luck finding any (yet) on ebay in the US.
I know i can buy them new but at >$300 each, that's my last resort.

edit: AKA door-cards, for those of you in the UK

Hey Mike, did you ever get these, I might know a guy in Castro Valley that might still have them, I've been getting a few things from this car over the last couple months.

He posted it on our site, here:http://www.baybimmerz.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1522

I am converting a dove grey interior M5 into a track car and will be getting rid of them. If you still need them let me know.

still looking, but i need silver gray, not "silver-gray-hell" (aka dove gray).

will probably bite the bullet and just buy one new one from the dealer and try to repair the other bad one.

Did you ever get these?

I've got silver grey extended nappa leather interior in mine (SA spec, which is where quiote a few US spec cars where built apparently), the UK silver grey is a different door card I think, no padding on it etc.

Not yet, still looking. Would love leather. My friend at my dealer parts dept thinks i should just order some leather from bmw and have a local upholstery shop recover them, which i'm considering.

If you have any for sale though, i'd be interested.

afraid not, I'll be looking for a repair on one of my own soon I think... picture of mine attached for reference, you might find one in South Africa as all white E34 M5's from 1991 where apparently of this interior spec' (according to the original purchaser of my car, there was no choice in specification for local market M5's, you simply ordered an "M5").

maybe we can get a group buy! I'm local to you, and have heard good things about an upholstery shop in concord called superior auto uphoulstery, and another shop in walnut creek called alex auto uphoulstery. I've yet to visit either myself.

That's a good idea. It seems the interior panels are a weak spot on E34's... I'll try to check out those shops this week to see what I can find out. Send me an email and let me know where you are. wharthog@sbcglobal.net
