BSW Stage 1 Testing with Pictures and Review

Midranges were released a couple of days ago. Well the response was huge as seen in the below post. People wanted the whole kit. So we give what the people want

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=839026

Front Midrange Replacement:

Test CD was Heart's Greatest hits. Mainly listened to Magic Man. Very dynamic song and really get to hear everything!

We tested with just the Midrange upgrade and balanced and faded everything to the front right where the new midrange was. Faded it over to the driver side.... Ears start to hurt Boy that stock audio system is NOT GOOD! Fade it back and we have positive results! Sounds GREAT! Very dynamic, very rich and smooth! :alright

Front Tweeter Replacement:

Same Test CD and same results but better! This car, if you so choose, can be dramatically increased in the sound quality department with just the midrange and tweeter upgrade! Install took ~20 minutes! 100% plug and play!

Front Midbass Upgrade:

Another positive result! Same Test CD. Front midbass response CAN be improved with a simply plug and play speaker upgrade. We actually used the Rainbow Audio Soundline's that they make for us for our other stage 1's. Sounds Amazing! Fading it back and forth from left to right between our speakers and stock is night and day difference!

More updates to come with Group Buy details, intro sale and instructions for install!!!

Good to see you'll finally have an E34 replacement kit. Too bad I don't currently have the $ to spare to pick up a set, need to put the $ towards a set of new (or hopefully rebuilt) front EDC shocks...

It's not an if, its a when.

Change out non-blown speakers first, or change out blown front shocks first? Not much of a choice if you ask me.

But a set of BSW's & a CD43 deck will be installed at some point...
