Advice needed on risky purchase!!!!

I am interested in a buying a 95 e36 for around 2.5k. The only problem is that the car has a salvage title due to the car being rear-ended. it doesnt start, but it started when it was wrecked. the car has 174,xxx miles on it, and looks like it might need to be repaired. Would this be a good investment looking at the greater picture considering mileage and everything? Im unsure and i dont want to make an uneducated purchase and loose money. Please let me know your opinions as soon as possible.

Hey there,

I'd be very skeptical about buying one that's been salvaged. Was it recently damaged? These are old cars and they require a lot of work to refresh them. My advice is to hold off on it... I've spent around $2500 this year alone on my M3, and it's in top shape lol.

If you can't get it to start because of a rear end collision after tinkering with it for 2 hours at most, walk away.
