Unhappy typical owners???

I've been trawling the sites, and came across this quote from a "typical M3 E36 owner"

Quote:
I've got a M3 and I'd guess you'd say I'm a pretty typical M3 owner. Mine's Dakar Yellow and I've had it lowered and fitted some badass 20 inch Viper alloys. On the trunk I've stuck an oversized spoiler (originally intended for a Toyota Supra) which I find gives me more downforce when I'm pushing 130 mph. For around town cruising I've fitted a set of purple Mindblaster undercarriage neons. Inside I've got a 100 watt bass bin in the boot for the choones I like to play real loud. I'm pretty pleased with all my mods, but in the end I agree with all you guys - it's the BM badge and what other people think that counts
what do you think!!! scary!!!!!!!!

Sure a scary trend. Know the type from here too. Here in town where I live we had a couple of 3-series driving around with a lot of plastic and stuff and M3 badges on them. When I finally got mine they all one after another debadge their cars :-)

I love my E36 M3 limo just becasue it's so tasteful and that most people can't tell it's something special.

Stupid people like that are experts in burning cars in 6 - 10 months. Then sold it and buy a new one with dad's money. They do not aprecciate the pleasure of owning an M3.

Yes, I know a couple of them. In a Bmw event one of them, revved his M3 in cold to 6500 rpm or so. Absolutely brainless.

Some time ago, I was looking for an E30 M3, heard of one, got the details, sounded very interesting, not far from me, when I got there, the owner (who was in his 40's) showed me around the car and was very enthusiastic, I checked everything under the bonnet and it was stone cold, he took me for a drive in 'his baby', and proceeded to thrash the nuts of it as soon as we left his driveway.
Needless to say I didn't buy it, as you say, absolutley mindless.
