So I get a surprise phone call from Sorab, about a guy looking for modded M5 sounds for the upcoming film Fast and the Furious 4. Apparently they have an M5 in the film. I told him to forward my number along, and I got the call from the sound director for the film. To make a long story short, the beast will be getting audio recorded tomorrow at California City airport. I will see how it goes.

1 mile long straight had me take the beast up to 175 an infinite amount of times. Crazy donuts on the runway and drifting around a whole audio crew. I have to say, the best time I have had period, in the beast.
Much appreciation and props to Sorat.
Dead tired right now, will post pics soon. But I do have to say that it was an great to see professionals obsess over their craft. The beast was cared for like a Hollywood star. Thew new wheels, Formula Forged, and work done at LA Autosport held up perfect all day. At the end of the day, there was another car on set, a Lancer EVO with 20k worth of work in it. We raced, pinks style and I still got him. There is film of the drifting , donuts, and the race that will be sent to me.
Awesome. Ronin was sound tested for the audio of Need for Speed Most Wanted. I think they used it for the M3 race car. Funny thing was, when I was done driving, one of the furry microphone covers got fried, it was attached to the rear tow hook insert behind the exhaust and couldn't take the heat. It looked like a road kill animal. They said those covers are expensive. The neatest thing was to hear the mic hooked up to the air intake, it was like a living breathing animal.
That will be so cool to see the videos, post it up if you can.
