Anyone doing any tech checks in the local area today? We can meet up to look over basic things...fluids, brakes, tires, etc....

-Everyone should find out if they have directional and/or asymmetrical tires or not. If yours aren't (like my NT-01s) then you can swap your fronts side-to-side and cut down on how much turn 2 kills you front tires. I'll bring a jack, having another one there (one for each side) would make swapping easier.


Everyone with an M car should have an M Mobility Kit which works great as an air pump.


Also, bring an extra quart of oil, and some PS fluid. They are easy to pack and you never know when you might need them.


Also bring a hat and sunscreen! SV will provide water, but if you want snacks you should bring your own.


I'll be bringing my 40D and related lenses. I don't know yet how we'll work out photography, since we're all in the same run group. I might be able to talk my wife into coming out for the first part or the day, but maybe not. Worst case I can switch run groups later on in the day and shoot you guys.


Let's all try to park near each other, it will make better paddock group shots. Along the yellow cold/hot pit wall down where the chain link fence starts (the turn 9 side, not the turn 1 side) would work well.

Yes, that spot is perfect. Anyone who gets there early see if you can put some chairs ans things down so we can save the area. i will try to ge there as early as possible but, hopefully everyone will be on time.
