#058 - 2008 CCX Edition Carbon / Red & Black YT9ED33B98A007058 U.S. Spec

Presently being offered by Motorcars of Georgia, although said to be not in the U.S. yet: 2008 Koenigsegg CCX for Sale - 708203 - duPontREGISTRY.com
One of two CCX Editions made.

This VIN is curious; digits 4-5 of ED are obviously meant to indicate this as an Edition model. I would have expected this VIN to begin YT9XH33, similar to "standard" U.S.-spec CCX's, because the European Edition car that we currently have a VIN for in our registry (#054) does not have a unique Edition VIN structure as this one does.

Although U.S. VINs do have different digits 4-8, across the board, than do European cars.

Even more strange is that we had chassis #058 previously identified by forum member JayZ as a blue "standard" CCX.

You could be right. 7058 could probably be the Edition car and if that is so then I have given you the wrong number on the blue car before... Sorry. But I will check again and get back with the correct no on the blue one.

#58 Black/ Red CCX Edition LHD - YT9ED33B98A007058

Looks like the blue car with champagne interior that is put as No. 58 is wrong.

2008 Koenigsegg CCX for Sale - 708203 - duPontREGISTRY.com

Advert with the black CCX Edition with red interior for sale.

However pics are same as those on Koenigsegg site, so might be fake advert?

Yes, I also found this one: #058 - 2008 CCX Edition Carbon / Red & Black YT9ED33B98A007058 U.S. Spec

This car is said to not be in the U.S. yet, that may explain the stock photos. I hope we will be able to get some photos of this car when it arrives.

I will merge these two threads.

Thanks!
