This is really the first Koenigsegg sold? Cool! Do you know if it is still red? Does it still carry a CC8S badge, or is it badged as a CCR? Do you know where we can find any current pictures of it?

Yes it is still red and is located in thee factory in Sweden. See Pics.

I assume then that it still carries VIN #001? By any chance do you know, or can you get, the complete VIN?

VIN found be Edvar van Daalen to be YT9M1G0V8C1007001!

If my suspicions are correct, and the 11th digit of these early VINs was used to indicate production year, then this car was built in 2001.
