Attention all Koenigsegg owners, spotters and enthusiasts!
We are starting an unofficial registry of Koenigsegg cars here on the forum. We would like to positively identify as many Koenigseggs as possible. If you spot a Koenigsegg, try to photograph (or at least write down) the VIN and any other pertinent information about it. U.S. cars are required to have the VIN visible at the base of the driver's side windshield pillar. Also there is a data plate in the forward storage compartment. There may also be VIN's stamped elsewhere on the chassis. Start a new thread for any Koenigseggs you find, and we will edit them into the list in this thread.
With Koenigsegg's low production, it should not take very long to get a large portion of the Koenigseggs identified by chassis number. Koenigsegg owners, your car's own thread would be a great place to include pictures, information, and stories about your car!
Here are the Koenigseggs we have identified so far. We have made a lot of progress since we first started!
We are still in need of complete VINs for some of these:
(Thanks to Gustav for #’s 15, 30, 32, 36, 52, 54, 56, 61, 66, 68, 70, 74, 78 and the VINs of #33, 52, 59 and 63; JayZ for #’s 14, 15, 33, 58, 59, 73, 76, 77; Jay P for #79; Bucciali for #40; Pinguu for the VIN of #62; Edvar van Daalen for #'s XX1, 31, 47, 57, 65 and the VINs of #'s 1, 20, 30, 32 and 46; Universal Autosports for #43; Jerwatt for #9 and the VIN of #'s 5 and 14; Matthias Kierse for #'s 18, 22, 37, 53, 60, 64, 81, 90 and the VIN of #54, #76 and 83; Laviolette GT2R for #3, #20 and #23; Jon913D for #41 and the VIN to #72; Alan W for #071; Mrmisteraa for #063; and Polouser for #086 and #088)
Of course there are many more, we have just gotten started!
Obviously most of these are links to other threads here on the forum, thanks to those who have posted these. SpykerOwner.com has a very popular registry there for Spykers. I thought there should be one here for Koenigseggs. I am relatively new here; many of you know more about Koenigseggs than I do, I am just the engine to get this started. I believe this registry can be very successful. Everybody be on the lookout and get those VIN's!
