Wow, 198 KG is EXTREMELY light for an engine like this, especially if this is the fully dressed weight (headers, supercharger, etc).
That's 437 lbs. EXTREMELY light.
For reference, the 5.0L V10 BMW S85 is 529 lbs, fully dressed. The 6.2L V8 in the Mercedes x63 series (C63, E63, S63, SL63, CL63, CLS63) is 438 lbs, while their older supercharged 5.4L V8 in the x55 series of cars is 485 lbs (superchargers are heavy).
The 6.0L V8 Chevy LS2 is 448 lbs, fully dressed, and the 7.0L V8 Chevy LS7 is 458 lbs.
If that 437 lbs is fully dressed, it's an absolute engineering marvel; even more than just the power hints at!
Yeah i read that they were only going to make 4 CCXR Edition and 2 CCX Edition due to economy, is this true? yet the Koenigsegg woman at geneva told me the CCXR was sold out, i took that to maen 6 cars but maybe not. Can you shed any light Gustav?

This is disappointing. Just as economic indicators are showing things might be turning around soon. Not to mention Koenigsegg has just barely begun to scratch the surface of the U.S. market. And I don't think the CCX is "long in the tooth," I think it's a great design. I want to see more CCX's over here!
Personally, I also feel there's enough people doing the "green" car thing. I like my performance cars decidedly un-green. I'm not a big fan of the Quant, but maybe that will change.
