Xzibit's Lambo for sale!

Xzibit's Lamborghini Gallardo is for sale. It's the car he drove in the 2007 Gumball 3000 Rally.

I'm mad about that:

buy it on ebay and support the family of Vladimir & Margarita Chepunjoska, victims of the horrible crash at 2007 Gumball3000!
We make a 10% donation* too them - so be noble with your bidding!
(of ending prize for the car, excl. taxes - money transfer goes to the account of donations and is controlled by an advocate and notary)

So he/they are are taking advantage of the ***** of two people to sell the car.

Damn! 10% (perhaps even less) being doanted. That would be just a fraction of the costs for participating in the Gumball.

Really disgusting IMO.

a 100,000Euro car, 10% goes to charity. Not bad. If fact quite good. As for taking advantage of two people to sell the car, how can you be so vindictive?

It is not pleasant to see someone spit at well meant charity.

The car, in case you hadn't noticed, is registered in Austria. Last time I looked, Los Angeles is not in Austria, so what the hell would Xzibit do with a super car in Austria? If you did some asking around you may find that like many Gumballers, the car was purchased just to do the Gumball and the intention was always to sell it afterwards.

Mussy did that with the car he and I did the 2005 Rally in and guess what? He gave 15% to a charity here in Hungary that buys modern drugs for paedeatric heart surgury. Did the charity throw the money back in his face because the 15% was less than the entry fee for Gumball that year? Answers on a postcard please.

So in summary:

1. Xzibit is not taking advantage of the ***** of Vladimir & Margarita Chepunjoska.
2. He is being very generous by giving over 10,000Euros to charity.
3. He is being a decent man, and not morally bankrupt in any way.

Its good enough for me, im leading bidder

We had a similar issue last year when we did our anual charity event.
We offered 50% of our weekends takings to charity and had numerous people moaning because on this weekend we had a 200% increase in overall trade so in actual fact my company made more money.
Some people thought this was bad, and yes, we did think we would get more revenue from the event but the alternative was not to do the event and the charity would have made nothing.
Instead they had enough money to treat 60 kids.

No losers.
