Conditions!?

sup ppl? was wondering as to wat are the conditions for entry into the Gumball... i'm aware of the $10,000 USD price tag... but wat else? does your car have to fall under a certain category?

my M3 is stock.. despite this, would it still be poss. to enter it? or would i have a better chance with the QP for example?

Re: Conditions!?

Even if you had 40K Sterling I think you'd be lucky to be accepted in the M3, too popular a purchase you see.

The Quattroporte would get you in dead easy, style and taste!

Will.

Per car, but this only includes two people. If you want more there is a charge per person, not sure how much though.

Re: Conditions!?

Nest Gumball will include flying all the cars to the other side of the world and taking all the Gumballers on a Private jet across too. That would be a pricy affair and might be the reason why entry is so high as well.

Don't forget your fuel costs, fines, tyres, incurance... all adds up.

Re: Conditions!?

It's only £40k for 2006 which will be a one off, then it will revert back to £10k as they know some of the regular Gumballers can't afford £40k.

You can enter in virtually anything, but the more unique your vehicle is the better.

Plenty of people have entered and been accepted in M3s though, and they're more than capable of keeping up the pace - just get the limiter taken off it

Think long and hard before entering in a milk float/wagon or an ice cream van..... remember it's 3000 miles and you have to suffer the car for each and every mile.

The crowds and praise are long gone when the gas fumes seep into the cabin in that *hilarious* 1970's US Ambulance you've entered in.....

Hehehe.........I must admit, I would be extremely p155ed off after driving 3000 miles in an ice cream van, I can't think of anything more frustrating
