By the way, that Lamborghini was photographed in London (near Hyde Park). Lots of 'interesting' cars parked in that building.

BTW

That A8 is not painted.... Saw that pic and heard the story in 2003.


I have experimented with painting cars in this finish and blackchrome ( like E39 wheels) but we did not seem to be able to get a large surface done the way I would like it. We had issues with the reflexibility of the paint and it would not "overflow" from one section to another well enough. Plus it eventually became flat and there was no polishing back to life.

Wonder how they have done it?

Can't imagine they haven't had the setbacks we had.

I heard somewhere that that A8 is not paited chrome, its actually silver, but i just could not believe what i was told.
