I think its a classic case of selling bigger engined cars and better equipment at a discount when the next generation is coming.. Gustav I think you should know as Saab and Volvo have their Jubilee and Classic editions usually at the end of the cars life cycle, for example the V70 can be had with lots of equipment for cheaper as the new model is coming. the S-type will be replaced most likely end of this year or early next year. the consept (which looks a little weird has been shown already. )

It's an old car so they are bound to try and sell the old stock off.

The new XKR is a step in the right direction.

They use that aluminum body as an excuse for everything. They put less power in and think they can get away with it.

And i don't have a problem with the XK or the XJ but Jaguars just annoy me because they are Jaguars. In the UK or at least where I live 90% are driven by over 60s who seem to think that they should be driving at 21mph if they want to avoid the wheels locking up and sliding into a tree. People who buy X-type can't afford or don't want a 3 series, c class or A4 so they just buy a car which is a mondeo with some other body panels stuck on.

I think alot of Jaguar drivers by them because of some sort of national pride, but when it comes to british car making there is little to be proud of, of course there are some exceptions. But i find people who buy cars because they are British (despite usually being owned by the USA or the Germans) drive around very slowly and hold people up.

I think i have worked all the anger out of me, but people who drive slower than they should anger me.
