Shelby Mustang Cobra GT500

Can anyone advise how fast new Shelby Cobra GT500 runs 0-60mph and quarter miles ? Is it faster than M5 ?

Got this info from a couple of sites:

Shelby Cobra GT500-price=under $40,000
450 horsepower (supercharged)
475 lb of torque
0-60 in 4.6
5.4L V8 (Same as Ford GT)
9.5-by-18-inch wheels
Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires—255/45 front, 285/40 rear.
3850 lbs.
1/4 mile in 12.5 sec

Ehh, I would and did pay >$95k for an M5, but would NOT pay more than half of that for a Mustang.

I say that, but I did own a Mustang II (boredom zero) once many years ago... What a muscle car that was!

Actually, it's the iron block from the Lightning, though it has GT heads and supercharger.

Since it has a SC, I imagine with a few simple mods it can be pretty insane. For around $50K, you can probably run 11 second quarter miles.

The Cobra does not have the same engine as the GT and not the HP or Torque either.....My next ride the GT, and keeping the MMMMmmmm

I might be wrong, but I read that the new cobra will actually have 500 hp.
