What about the Bmw X5 Le Mans ?

I have read that the X5 Le Mans has 700 HP and that a very few units are going to build.
Can you imagine ( your M5 or maybe your Alpina b10 biturbo ) being overtaken by a 4x4 ?
Cool.

I was just over in Munich before Christmas, and the factory people I spoke with said it was an exercise mule ONLY, and the rumors of an ///M X5 are untrue. They will offer a "sport" version, lowered and a 6 speed/SMG II choice, but they are having problems with the ///M3, and it will be 2 years off...

Already been announced. The X5 will get an Alpina-tweaked 347HP 4.6L engine as a standard BMW model.
