I agree. Also, I can't wait until the Quattroporte comes here.

Re: Maserati anyone???????

Just as an FYI, either Car or Evo has a comparison between the Maserati and the 645-- they liked the 6 better. They said the styling of the 6 is so good it stopped people in their tracks and next to the 6, people ignored the Maserati.

That said- I think if you like the styling, give it a test drive and decide for yourself. My personal opinion is- Id rather have a F360 for a few dollars more. But like is stated above, the Maserati is a bit of a GT

Re: Maserati anyone???????

The EVO article actually made a different point on the 645 styling. In Monaco, resident people have become numb to exotic cars. Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Porsche's and Maserati's are so common place that no one gives them a second glance. The newness of the 645 styling actually jarred some of the locals. The experience proved that the 645 was the "it" car of the moment. When they piloted the Maserati back to more plebian soil, it received an appropriate amount of attention (even with the 645 beside it).

The 360 is more than just a few $'s more than the Maserati. If you tried to buy a US market 2003 360 F1 with 2k miles...you are paying at least twice the price of a Maserati with the Skyhook suspension and Cambiocorsa tranny ($150k+ vs $75k).

I personally love the Maserati's low-key style. It is very elegant..it reminds me of the Ferrari 275's of the early 1960's. There is a new GranSport model introduced at the Geneva Auto Show. It had a more aggressive styling package and a little extra hp.
