Well, the new Sports Car International is out and they provided their thoughts on the Audi RS6. So here is a recap...
good points:
-loved the engine, much more pull then the M5
-relatively complient suspension that can tackle corners decently as well as ride over bumps without knocking your teeth out
-the paddle shifters
-the interior, especially the Recaro seats
-build quality
negative points:
-it is an automatic
-bland exterior styling
-heavy curb weight hurts performance (0-100kmh in 4.7, 0-200kmh in 17.6) and handling
Final thoughts:
"The reality is that it(RS6) is so close to being perfect that the one major shortcoming it does have have is achingly frustrating. All recent Audis, even the overly sporting RS models, lack emotional involvement. While it is true that rival cars from MB and BMW are also becoming such efficient driving tools that they too are less tactile than their forebearers, the products from Audi consistently seem the most aloof of the lot. So although the Audi is arguably the best all-rounder, for sheer driver involvement, the M5 is still king."
On another note, they also look at the new Viper. I think Dodge stole the Angel Eyes and put them on the Viper!!!
