New member new project

sup all, new member here, first timer bmw owner. I've had an 89 nissan 240sx turbo'd, still have a 96 nissan 240sx turbo'd, and owned an audi 2.7 twin turbo, and now this. It's a 2003 540i with M pkg. black on black, auto, and just under 60k miles. I LOVE how this thing handles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the torque on this motor is soooooooooo awsome. first nissan had many many suspension upgrades, and still it didn't give me the confidence that i have with this bmw. as of right now, it's perfectly stock, however i did finish making these......

they're radiator brackets machined out of 6061 aluminum.
i'm not a camera guy, so sorry for crappy pics. lmk what you guys think, i'll try to get some good shots of the ride soon. thanks.

Love them! Having installed my Zionsville radiator, I know what POSs the stock parts are. Are you selling these? I'm a buyer if you are.

welcome. great job. i would take a set as well if available. ideas to make other parts, i thought you would never ask:

-door lock pins
-interior trim to replace fake aluminum trim
-ebrake handle & matching shifter knob
-front & rear tower strut bars (if you have a lot of time)
-any other bracket

btw, i would buy all of these items if produced.

oh i know what you can make and will have 50 sets sold right away - the rear sunshade clips if you search theres a thread with many people looking for a solution. the stock pieces are made of plastic and easily break

so after working for 12hr straight everyday for the past couple weeks, i finally had some time to do some maintenance and i found out one of the rear sway bar endlink popped off the bolt, therfore making the rear sway bar not linked. is this a usual problem wit this car?? i seen the thread about the sway bar bracket itself, but nothing on this one. anyone ever tried making heim joints for the rear endlinks???? if not, i'll see if i can attempt it when i get a chance. camera got smashed, gotta wait to get a new one.

A very common problem!! Try Beastpower sway bar brackets as they last forever.

These are E60 but you get the idea.

Sounds like you got a sweet ride. 540i's are awesome cars. Did you get an automatic or a stick?
