Luxury car market may never look the same

Luxury car market may never look the same - The Driver's Seat- msnbc.com

However BMW CEO said in Frankfurt that BMW 7 was the best selling luxury car this year overall?

He's talking about for the consumer.

Walk off the lot with a new M and you just threw away $20,000.

Sloppy Seconds???

But I bet the 2ndary market for these cars will jump....say luxos that are 2/3 years old and have already experienced the biggest hit depreciation wise....people may not want to pony up 75k+ for a new 7 series....but say 60k??...might have them think twice...especially with off lease cars.....time will tell!

BMW M might have to start sharing engines among its peer models like AMG models do with theirs.
