The Porsche 911 is generally viewed as the ultimate track tool and allround sports car. When a naturally aspirated Lambo Gallardo beats the top of the heap 911 in a straight line, I suggest towards Zuffenhausen that it is about time they rethink their 6 cylinder boxer engine layout...

To be fair the GT2 wasnt driven by Röhrl but oon the other hand the LP560 gave the GT2 the jump clearly so there is no way a GT2 would kill a LP560.

There's an Drivers-Republic video with a rolling start to 1xx mph with a GT2, LP560 and 430 Scud. The LP560 was out in the lead and as the speeds increased the GT2 caught up. Was very even between the 2. Scud wasn't to be seen though

YouTube - LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP560 4 VS FERRARI F430 SCUDERIA VS PORSCHE 997 GT2 ACCELERATE EXAUST SOUND

Starts at the 1:23 mark.

Maybe the GT2 in the drivers republic video was healthy. The GT2 in your video wasn't. Maybe the LP560 was extremely strong in your vid and not so much in the drivers republic vid. Who can tell? Could be like the GTR where each car is different in terms of power etc. I've seen the same cars with the same HP yet 1 gets the advantage for some reason or another. Just another mystery of the motor industry lol.

I guess. But in all tests of the LP560 we have done it has consequently been very fast.
