A shot when it was first taken to start restoration and a pic of one about a month ago after all the metal work was finally complete...

Wow, great project! Post pics and info on here when you finish it...

Hemi Charger Restoration thread (Updated 9/23/09 - new pics!)

You can follow the restoration here (started November 2007 - quite a crazy story on what we had to do to acquire the car, being a victim of fraud by the first shop we went to, and finally getting the car in the right hands about a year ago)... up to 21 pages!

How about restoring it to orginal specs? That would be what I would do. These cars are only worth $$ when they are as close to original as possible.

Not really my thing, I wouldnt enjoy it as much. I know I'm going to take a hit, but I'm going to love it while I have it. Plus, relative to Trans Ams, this wouldnt be worth that much anyways as it wasnt an original 455

Here are some quick pics I took today when I went to the shop to drop off the Flowmaster Mufflers. I know these pics are weak, but it was all I had time for. 1 of the old 455 engine/trans and then 2 of the new motor sitting in the engine bay
